Service Executives Tune in to Real-Time

May 28, 2003 - Over one hundred executives from service organizations spanning four continents tuned in to the opening session of Roadmap to Real-Time Service Optimization, a two-part web seminar series.

Presenters in the first session included Lynn Askew, VP MIS for Patterson Dental, who described his company's drive towards real-time service  The session was opened and moderated by Barton Goldenberg, author of Creating The Real-Time Enterprise and president and founder of ISM, Inc., a Bethesda, MD based consultancy firm  Chris Martins, a field service expert, described the solution components that make up a real-time service solution.

"The topic of real-time optimization is highly relevant to our service business," said Kirk Costanzo, Manager Tech Support for Bell Canada, who attended the first session over the web   "The material and the speakers in the first session of this webinar series were of high quality and provided valuable information related to real-time optimization and how it is currently being implemented into the real-world environment  I look forward to learning more in the upcoming session," added Mr. Costanzo.

The series' second session will take place Thursday, June 5th  Presenters in this session are service executives from Direct Energy and Diagnostic Products Corporation, who will describe their experiences implementing real-time service solutions, including workforce optimization and intelligent device management.
