Software Developer
Nexterna is looking for an experienced software developer to join our highly skilled team. This ongoing project involves interfacing with Nexterna's clients to design, develop and implement of variety of customized application extensions and enhancements to existing Clearview components. The successful candidate will continue developing critical functionality in existing applications while investigating, designing, developing, documenting and implementing improved strategies.
Skill Requirements
- At least 3 years C# experience.
- At least 3 years experience with Web Services, ASP.Net, DTS / Integration Services.
- At least 3 years experience with XML / XSL.
- At least 3 years experience with Microsoft SQL 2000+, including writing, testing and optimizing stored procedures, views and functions, SQL Reporting Services.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, ASP, VBScript
- Strong .NET Compact Framework or Pocket PC Development an asset
- Experience with Windows Workflow Foundation an asset
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English a must
- Friendly, professional demeanor and excellent people skills
- Demonstrated initiative and enthusiasm
- Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
- C++ and/or C# experience a significant asset
- Software version maintenance experience a significant asset
